How to pray - Through the Holy Spirit

How to Pray

Begging through the Holy Spirit

Eph 6:18

With prayers and deep desires, making requests at all times in the Spirit, and keeping watch, with strong purpose, in prayer for all the saints.

The more time you spend in the presence of God and practice to find in Him your daily routines, the more God will open your eyes through the Holy Spirit. He will teach you to look for Him in everything you are doing, even ist your normal daily takes. The more time you spend the easier it will become to hear his voice through his Holy Word. You will find that your daily tasks, if it’s jogging, cleaning or doing your normal work at the office, become must easier and when you open your eyes, it’s complete with a lot of time to spare. That is how your life become one continuous conversation and prayer with God.

I can testify that the more time with God the more time you have to do other things.

In Luke 18 we read where Jesus told the disciples about the widow that approached the judge to help her in her case. The widow didn’t stop to hassle the judge until he helped her. We need to keep praying to God and believe that he will answer our prayers.

Mat 26:41

Keep watch and pray that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

We must have constant contact with God to prevent Satan to take control, of our lives. Jesus was tested a few times by Satan in the dessert but didn’t give way. This is what we must do, we must pray to God to protect us against the devil.

We ready in 1 Paul 5:8

Be alert, be on watch! Your enemy, the Devil, roams around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

How do we do that?

1. We find the answer in James 4

So then, submit yourselves to God. Resist the Devil, and he will run away from you.

2. Jude 20

But you, my friends, keep on building yourselves up on your most sacred faith. Pray i in the power of the Holy Spirit

Paul writes in 2 Cor 2: 3 that is why he wrote the letter to you – I did not want to come to you and be sad by the same people who should make me. Happy. For I am convinced when I am happy, you are happy as well.

This is the word we receive today from God, If God is happy, we will be happy as well. Let us ask for the will of God and not for our will. Jesus said on the maintain in mark 14: 36 – “Father,” he prayed, “my Father! All things are possible for you. Take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet not what I want but what You want.

Our Father, WHO art in heaven,

Hallowed be Thy Name

Thy Kingdom come

Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven,

Give Us this day our daily bread

And forgive US our trespasses, as we forgive those WHO trespass against Us,

And lead US not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

AMEN
